Dr. Broadnax is a double board-certified Interventional Pain physician. He is returning home to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex after success beginning his career in Chicago, IL where he was nominated as one of Chicago’s Top Doc’s. While there he excelled as one of the top pain physicians in the region and served as a Director at Large on the Board of Directors for the Illinois Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. He is also active nationally and serves on the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians committee for Ethics and Integrity and the Strategies for Future Alliances Committee.
Dr. Broadnax is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He completed both his Anesthesiology Residency and his Pain Fellowship at the Harvard Medical School at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. He is board certified in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. Dr. Broadnax has received in-depth training in the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of complex pain disorders. He also has extensive experience with advanced minimally invasive pain and spine therapies including spinal cord and peripheral nerve stimulation, radiofrequency interventions, ultrasound-guided procedures, and percutaneous and endoscopic intradiscal therapies.
His philosophical approach to pain management allows Dr. Broadnax to construct a unique multidisciplinary treatment plan for each patient that combines interventional procedures, physical therapy, behavioral medicine, and adjunctive medication management. This philosophy, in concert with a compassionate and highly positive approach to patient care, allows him to partner with patients to optimize function, minimize pain, and maximize quality of life. The final product is an unrivaled standard of care for patients with chronic pain.
Dr. Broadnax’s professional interests lay in the management and treatment of spine conditions through minimally invasive techniques in concert with a multimodal holistic treatment plan with a focus on optimal outcomes and maximizing function. Dr. Broadnax is also interested in clinical research with the goal of advancing the field and providing patients with the best and most advanced treatment available. He is an active member of a number of professional societies including the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, American Academy of Pain Medicine, and the North American Neuromodulation Society.
