Dr. Eric Anderson

Dr. Eric Anderson is a double board-certified interventional pain management physician. He previously practiced in Chicago prior to moving back to Texas to be closer to family. While there he was nominated as a top doc of Chicago. He has been selected as one of America’s Top Docs as well as a Leading Physician of the World. Aside from the recognition, Dr. Anderson enjoys developing long-term relationships with his patients on their path to conquering their pain challenges.

Dr. Anderson completed his pain management fellowship at the prestigious Texas Tech University; one of the highest rated pain programs in the country. While there he trained under world-renowned pain physicians Dr. Miles Day and Dr. Gabor Racz.

Dr. Anderson is educated and experienced in all aspects of pain management, but has specialized expertise in advanced interventional pain medicine including: Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS), Peripheral Nerve Stimulation (PNS), Peripheral Nerve field Stimulation (PNfS), Ultrasound-guided procedures, The Racz Procedure (lysis of adhesions), fracture repair through kyphoplasty/vertebral augmentation.

Active in research and publications, Dr. Anderson has presented at both local and national meetings including the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, Texas Pain Society, and the Western Anesthesia Residents Conference (WARC). He has special interest in discogenic back pain and the use of radiofrequency in the treatment of chronic craniofacial pain.

He is an active member of the American Society of Anesthesiology, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, World Institute of Pain, and the American Medical Association. He is active at both local and national levels in his field. He has served as Director at Large of the Illinois Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and nationally serves on the ASIPP board for Minimally Invasive Endoscopic Spine Surgery.

Dr. Anderson utilizes a multi-modal approach to pain management and believes that well-educated patients have the best chance for pain-free lifestyles. He consistently works to bring patients the education they need through therapies and programs implemented at the Advanced Pain Institute.
